In The Spotlight: RITA ORA

She is the British act that had an amazing evolution this year, with 4 songs already being played on radio and TV, extracted only from ONE album. Ladies and Gents I'm talking about Rita Ora. I don't really like to compare artists , because in my opinion everyone is unique, but with this girl it's different. She can be a lot better and more popular than Rihanna (which is according to figures, the most successful female artist of 2012). Rita's album is called Ora and it has 15 tracks. The overall sound of her work is dope and it is appealing to a young audience. Of course you already know Hot right now, R.I.P. , How we do (party) and her new single Shine ya light. These tracks are quite nice, but listening to the album while writing this review I discovered a track called Radioactive, which is a proper TUUUNEEE ! I do hope this will make it as a video and it will be played on the radio. It is not a secret that she is under Jay-Z guidance and this album has also a featuring with Will.I.Am, which is also a trend artist among young listeners. Definitely an album that is worth buying ! Despre saluturi si alte chestii...

Multi nu realizeaza cat de important este un salut. Este si o arta modul in care rostesti acest cuvant. Poti alege o maniera mai lejera, daca nu putin stinghera. Depinde si de persoana cu care ai conversatia. Am observat ca majoritatea fetelor raspund salutului cu buna, ceea ce e o veste buna. Ar fi monoton sa ne salutam la fel, nu? Dupa aceea lucrurile evolueaza si ajungi sa cunosti o persoana. Toate astea dupa o conversatie in care nu ai replici de genul "pick-up" lines (replici de agatat). Acestea distrug orice fel de interactie cu o fata. Cel putin cu una desteapta. Cu toate acestea,in ziua de azi, rar primesti medalii pentru faptul ca esti sincer. Fetele din ziua de azi, sunt interesate de alte lucruri. In cel mai fericit caz ajungi "prietenul cel mai bun" al unei fete. Viata nu e ca-n filme, unde, uneori cei mai putini populari ajung sa se "combine" cu fata frumoasa si apreciata de toata lumea. Trecand peste acest aspect, eu inca sper ca-n lumea asta sa fie fete care sa doreasca sa fie mai mult decat prietene cu un tip sincer. Asta e o melodie pentru o prietena de-a mea:

Euro 2012

Incep acest post prin a felicita echipa nationala a Spaniei care pur si simplu a impresionat la acest turneu. Am sperat la o finala cu Germania, deoarece atat Spania cat si Germania jucasera cel mai frumos fotbal. Spania joaca precum Barcelona, combina mult pana in fata portii si au adevarate genii, unul dintre ei fiind Xavi. Italia a reusit sa fie surpriza acestui turneu, in opinia mea si consider ca si-au depasit conditia ajungand in finala.
Voi urmari cu interes parcursul celor doua echipe pe viitor.

Hey guys ! So today was the second semi-final of Eurovision 2012. Ten more countries have qualified for the grand final. On Saturday 26 countries will compete to win the contest. Ne-am mai calificat si noi la ceva!

Buna seara! Tocmai am urmarit Eurovision 2012, prima semi-finala. Sunt foarte fericit ca Romania s-a calificat fara prea multe emotii in finala de Sambata! Desi au fost ceva probleme in timpul actului, consider ca Elena s-a descurcat destul de bine. Aveam ceva retineri referitoare la prestatia lor LIVE, dar se pare ca le-a iesit. Am vazut concursul pe BBC Three si chiar am fost mandru sa aud comentarii pozitive la adresa Romaniei. Si pe Twitter s-a comentat de bine despre noi, multi asemanand-o pe Elena cu celebra cantareata Tulisa. In fine, eu sunt sigur ca in finala o sa avem succes si prevad ca vom fi in Top10. La casele de pariuri avem a 5-a sansa sa castigam. Stam bine, zic. Acum va las sa urmariti prestatia Romaniei la Eurovision 2012. Hai cu Like si Share!

O melodie simpatica

Incep acest post prin a-mi cere scuze pentru ca n-am mai pus nimic pe belog ieri. Dar ma revansez eu cumva. Ei bine astazi va invit sa ascultati o melodie ce suna foarte bine. Interpreta este una foarte draguta si cu o voce deosebita, pe nume Taylor Swift. Pentru mine melodia ei cea mai buna e You belong with me. Poate ma insel , dar asta imi place mie foarte mult. Melodia pe care vi-o prezint azi se numeste Eyes open si este un soundtrack al filmului The Hunger Games. Imi place cum suna si cred ca o sa o includ si in emisiunea mea, Soundtrax.

Despre finala Champions League

Salutare. Astazi am avut parte de o finala Champions League inedita cu Bayern si Chelsea actori principali. Daca meciul a fost tensionat pana in minutul 80, ultimele 10 minute au adus 2 goluri, cate unul pentru fiecare echipa. Bayern a inscris prima prin Muller, iar cand nimeni nu mai credea Drogba a adus egalarea in minutul 89. Apoi in prelungiri (minutul 95, daca nu ma insel)acelasi Drogba se transforma in demon faultandu-l pe Ribery in careu. Arbitrul acorda penalty pentru Bayern.Suporterilor englezi nu le vine sa creada. In transmisia ITV1 apare pe fundal un suporter englez care se roaga ca Bayern sa rateze penaltiul. Numai ca Bayern n-a ratat, ci Cech a aparat un sut bun de altfel al lui Robben. Au mai fost cateva ocazii pentru ambele echipe in prelungiri, iar in cele din urma s-a ajuns la 11 metri. Ultimul penalty al lui Bayern este ratat de un jucator foarte bun, Bastian Schweinsteiger, lovind bara. Lovitura finala a lui Chelsea va fi executata de Drogba. Fara a sta prea mult pe ganduri ivorianul inscrie trimitand portarul in partea opusa. Chelsea este noua regina a Europei casting trofeul UCL pentru prima oara in istorie. Cineva s-a plans de calitatea meciului. Ei bine prietene, eu zic ca n-ai fost atent. Meciul a fost unul de o calitate ireprosabila, Bayern dominand majoritatea timpului. Personal, consider ca acest meci a fost ca o lectie de viata, dovedind ca daca ai credinta in puterile tale poti sa te ridici din orice situatie. Felicitari Chelsea si mai ales antrenorului Di Matteo (care a fost un fel de Mourinho) si a demonstrat ca poti face anti-fotbal si cu toate astea sa castigi.

The Romanian football derby

Tonight there was a spectacular game between Steaua and Dinamo, with a lot of goals being scored. I am glad that Steaua won in the end (3-2), after Dinamo had 1-0. I cannot describe in words how happy I am !! To have chances to win the title Steaua has to beat CFR Cluj on Sunday and CFR has to lose the match they're playing tommorow against U Cluj. It's going to be an exciting end of a season where the first six teams in the Table had at a certain point the chance to get to the first position. Here's a summary of what happened in the match between Steaua and Dinamo:

Salutare ! Astazi va prezint o piesa pe care am pus-o pe repeat in ultima vreme. Melodia originala e cantata de Lady Antebellum si se cheama Need you now. Varianta pe care vi-o prezint e interpretata de Cristina Ciobanasu si Vlad Gherman, actori in serialul "Pariu cu viata" care face furori in Romania.

So guys, this is it. I've finished and handed in today my dissertation. It is an interesting piece of work that I really enjoyed writing and if some of you want to read it write me a line and I'll send it to you.

Melodia saptamanii la Soundtrax

Dragilor am nevoie de ajutorul si sprijinul vostru. Daca nu stiti deja va informez ca eu prezint emisiunea Soundtrax, in fiecare Duminica , de la ora 17 (ora Londrei) pe www.romani-online.co.uk/radio. X factor Romania

I really enjoyed the first season of X factor Romania. There were some good voices that probably won't disappear from the Romanian music industry. I was glad that Andrei Leonte, whom I supported won. If you don't know , let me tell you that he got 200 000 euros and at least one year contract with Sony Romania. 2011 was a year with some great tunes. One of the singers that had a real success last year was Adele. I like most of her songs, but one song stands out as being the best.
